How can we help?
Answers to the most common questions about opportunities, applications and selection.
For participants
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. Creating your profile, finding opportunities and applying is free. Premium adds portfolio and profile visibility options, but it never gives priority in a selection process.
Do I need to be an adult?
Yes. At launch, Kindra is available to participants aged 18 or older. You must also meet the specific requirements shown on each project.
Will I need to enter my details for every application?
Not your basic details. Your reusable profile keeps the usual information, and each project only adds the specific questions it needs. Drafts are saved automatically.
How do recommendations work?
Kindra compares your profile with requirements such as residence, age, language, dates and interests. You can see what matches and what needs review; the result never replaces the organization's decision.
When will I need to upload documents?
Only when they are needed to move forward. Organizations can request them after shortlisting, and they are shared through private access rather than on your public profile.
How will I know my application's status?
Every application has a history of important changes: submission, correction requests, shortlisting, interviews, offers and confirmation. You will also receive the relevant notifications.
For organizations
Can we start for free?
Yes. Free includes one active project, one member, essential forms, basic CRM and a public profile that is not indexed by search engines. Higher plans expand capacity, customization and search presentation tools, subject to availability. See the plans for features and limits.
What do we need to verify our organization?
Kindra requests information such as an OID or PIC, registry evidence and an institutional contact. Verification is reviewed independently of the plan you choose.
Can we create our own application forms?
Yes. Each project can have an internal, versioned form with the questions it needs. Eligible plans add templates and conditional logic for more complex processes.
Does Kindra select participants automatically?
No. Matching organizes information and explains matches or blockers against objective criteria. Your team reviews the profiles and always keeps the final decision.
Can several people work on selection?
Yes. Assign administration, selection or view-only roles and limit access by project or track. You can also share projects with partner organizations, each with its own contacts, permissions and recruitment links. Available capacity depends on the plan.
Is the selection process recorded?
Yes. Statuses, document requests, interviews, offers and important decisions form an auditable history. This keeps context from getting lost across spreadsheets, emails or messages.
Can we schedule publication?
Yes. Prepare the project as a draft and choose its publication date and time. If review is required, it must be approved before publication.
What can we measure?
See visits and their sources, form starts and submissions, abandonment and recruitment by organization. Public profiles have separate visit and click metrics. Plus includes 90 days of profile analytics; Pro extends that history to 730 days and adds export. Advanced features depend on the plan and its availability.
