For participants
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. Creating your profile, finding opportunities and applying is free. Premium adds portfolio and profile visibility options, but it never gives priority in a selection process.
Do I need to be an adult?
Yes. At launch, Kindra is available to participants aged 18 or older. You must also meet the specific requirements shown on each project.
Will I need to enter my details for every application?
Not your basic details. Your reusable profile keeps the usual information, and each project only adds the specific questions it needs. Drafts are saved automatically.
How do recommendations work?
Kindra compares your profile with requirements such as residence, age, language, dates and interests. You can see what matches and what needs review; the result never replaces the organization's decision.
When will I need to upload documents?
Only when they are needed to move forward. Organizations can request them after shortlisting, and they are shared through private access rather than on your public profile.
How will I know my application's status?
Every application has a history of important changes: submission, correction requests, shortlisting, interviews, offers and confirmation. You will also receive the relevant notifications.
For organizations
Does Kindra replace the official platforms?
No. Kindra helps you share opportunities, receive applications and organize selection. Official processes, including PASS when applicable, still take place in the programme's systems.See what Kindra and the official platforms each do
Can we start for free?
We are preparing Start, the free plan: it will allow one published call every 12 months, with up to one open or paused at once. It will include individual application management, up to 3 custom questions and an automatic organization page. This new offer is not available yet.
What do we need to verify our organization?
Kindra requests information such as an OID or PIC, registry evidence and an institutional contact. Verification is reviewed independently of the plan you choose.
Can we create our own application forms?
Yes. In the planned offer, Start will include the necessary fields and up to 3 simple custom questions. Plus and Pro will allow larger forms and conditional logic. Earlier application responses will be preserved.
Does Kindra select participants automatically?
No. Matching organizes information and explains matches or blockers against objective criteria. Your team reviews the profiles and always keeps the final decision.
Can several people work on selection?
Yes, depending on the plan. The planned offer includes 1 team member on Start, 3 on Plus and 15 on Pro. Plus and Pro will let you coordinate projects with other organizations; a Start organization can collaborate on a call covered by another coordinator.
Is the selection process recorded?
Yes. Statuses, document requests, interviews, offers and important decisions form an auditable history. This keeps context from getting lost across spreadsheets, emails or messages.
Can we schedule publication?
In the planned offer, Plus and Pro will support scheduled publication; Start will publish manually. If the project requires review, it must be approved before publication.
What can we measure?
In the planned offer, Start will keep the counts needed to manage applications. Plus will add visits and applications analytics, with 90 days of profile history. Pro will extend that history to 730 days and support export. These new plan restrictions are not active yet.
What happens if our plan ends while a call is open?
If you move to Start when access ends, choose one call and up to 3 questions without conditions to keep its intake open, subject to your annual allowance. Without a valid choice, intake pauses. Other calls pause, with 14 days to close their selection. The owner keeps one full seat; team access exceeding Start is paused without deleting accounts or assignments. Data and commitments are kept; continuing with Plus or Pro is optional. Your customizable public page returns to a basic listing. Earlier invitations keep their terms.
